Putin blames Biden for Israel-Hamas conflict

Washington DC, United States: President of Russia – Vladimir Putin, has recently taken a dig at US President – Joe Biden and blamed him for the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group.

On Tuesday, Putin stated that the recent conflict shows that the US Policies have failed in the Middle East and taken no account of the Palestinians’ needs.

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson of President Putin, has stated that Kremlin is continuously having conversations with both sides. He further outlined that Putin is putting all the possible efforts into resolving the conflict. However, he did not reveal how.

Putin’s spokesperson also hinted that there are chances that the conflict may spill over into other regions with the passage of time.

Prez Putin blamed Prez Biden during taken with Iraqi PM:

President Vladimir Putin has been hosting the Prime Minister of Iraq, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. While having a conversation with the guest PM, Putin took the opportunity to blame the sharp escalation of US Policy in the region, the reports by Reuters disclosed.

Russian President was quoted saying, “I think that many people will agree with me that this is a vivid example of the failure of United States policy in the Middle East.”

In addition to this, Putin stated that Washington has always ignored the needs and interests of residents of Palestine. The major demand highlighted by the President was their demand to have an independent Palestinian state.

However, Putin made no comments on Russia’s role in the Mideast peace process.

It is to be noted that the Kremlin has been supporting both regions since the eruption of the latest crisis. Many reports have suggested that Russia is being neutral because of its relations with both sides.

Moscow relations with Palestinians and Israel: 

According to various reports, during the Russia-Ukraine war, Russia has allegedly used drones developed in Iran. In addition to this, Moscow shares strong ties with Palestinians, including Hamas, which sent its delegation to Russia.

On the other hand, Russia reportedly has “a lot in common” with Israel. One of the major similarities is the fact that many former Russian citizens are now Israeli.

As per the Russian news agencies, Peskov showed concern over this conflict and stated that “it was more than worrying. It has the potential to be dangerous by growing and spilling over from the current zone of the Arab-Israeli conflict.”

President Biden’s take on Israel-Hamas conflict:

President Joe Biden has promised that it will continue to support Israel during every phase of the conflict. Biden has also shared a warning to anyone who will seek to take advantage of his sensitive situation. The president has repeatedly assured that the US will be standing firm with Israel and will provide military aid whenever needed.

Along with this, the White House has announced that the US State Secretary will be visiting Israel on October 11 to meet all the senior Israeli leaders.
