Trump Urges Evacuation of Tehran, Abruptly Exits G7 Amid Rising Iran-Israel Tensions

United States: In an unsettling turn of events Monday evening, President Donald Trump issued an urgent advisory to Iranian citizens, urging them to promptly vacate Tehran. This proclamation was swiftly followed by a White House notice stating that the president would reduce his G7 attendance, citing “numerous pressing matters” that required his direct engagement.

A Surge Without Warning

The catalyst behind Trump’s bombastic Truth Social broadcast and his swift exit from the international summit in Canada remains cloaked in ambiguity. While Israel has executed aerial strikes on Tehran since Thursday night, the United States has refrained—publicly—from stepping into the fray.

White House representative Alex Pfeiffer quickly dismissed whispers of American military action. “U.S. defense protocols remain intact,” he declared. “Our position is defensive. We safeguard our people and national interests,” according to AXIOS.

Before boarding Air Force One, Trump gave a vague remark: “They want a deal,” he muttered, alluding to Iran. “Once I’m out of here, things will unfold. But I have to leave.”

Capital in the Crosshairs

Tehran, a sprawling metropolis harboring nearly 10 million souls, and an additional 7 million in the periphery, is now under psychological siege.

Trump’s social media tirade thundered: “Iran should’ve sealed the deal I offered. What a tragedy—lives squandered for nothing. Iran must not—MUST NOT—obtain a nuclear arsenal. I’ve said it a thousand times. Everyone—get out of Tehran!”

He didn’t stop there. He lambasted “loony Tucker Carlson” for allegedly downplaying the stakes: “He doesn’t grasp it—IRAN CANNOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON.”

Another follow-up exclaimed, “AMERICA FIRST stands for numerous monumental values—chief among them: IRAN CAN NEVER POSSESS A NUCLEAR WEAPON. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Ground Zero: Tehran

Israel’s military asserts total aerial command above Iran’s capital. On Monday, they widened their scope, reportedly targeting not just military and atomic infrastructure but media entities too, striking the headquarters of state-run television, as per AXIOS.

Civilians in specific quarters of Tehran have been ordered to evacuate, including those residing near the state media facilities. With minimal warning and limited transportation, the feasibility of a rapid, massive civilian exodus is in deep question.

Jarring Contradictions

Just two hours prior to his online alarm, Trump had sounded far more diplomatic. Speaking at the G7 gathering, he noted ongoing telephone exchanges with Iranian counterparts. He even floated the idea that face-to-face talks would be preferable.

“There will be a deal,” Trump speculated. “Iran is squandering a golden chance. Signing would be a smart move.”

French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that Trump had briefed G7 leaders on a possible ceasefire arrangement between Israel and Iran, and even floated an offer to meet the Iranians directly.

Strategic Withdrawal

By walking away from Day Two of the G7 summit, Trump forgoes high-stakes dialogue with several key global figures, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, also known as AMLO.

“Major discussions occurred,” stated Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, “but due to unfolding developments in the Middle East, President Trump will depart tonight following the Heads of State dinner,” as per Reuters.

Closing Thoughts:

Trump’s sudden exit from the diplomatic stage and his apocalyptic warnings directed at Tehran inject a volatile new energy into already shaky international affairs. With Israel’s shadow expanding over Iran and the White House walking a rhetorical tightrope, the next moves from all sides will echo far beyond regional borders.
