US warns Iran, Hezbollah over potential attacks on Israel

Washington, United States: The United States has warned Iran and the militant group – Hezbollah that if they launch an attack on Israel, then it (the US) is prepared to intervene militarily against them, according to the reports by The New York Times.

The statement has been released by two anonymous US officials after Hezbollah chief – Hassan Nasrallah, during his first speech about the Israel-Hamas war, stated that the militant group is not afraid of the US warship.

In addition to this, he also used the speech to taunt Israel and the United States; Nasrallah also warned both nations that his group was ready for anything.

He underscored that the conflict is “decisive” during a televised broadcast and was quoted saying, “America is entirely responsible for the ongoing war on Gaza and its people, and Israel is simply a tool of execution.”

It is to be noted that earlier, the White House outlined that it doesn’t want to see any increased conflict with Hezbollah’s home turf, Lebanon.

Russian support for Hezbollah

It is to be noted that various reports have claimed that the Russian mercenary–Wargner Group has intended to support the militant group (Hezbollah) with an air-defense system. According to the sources, this help has raised concern among various nations, and the situation became complex after witnessing the presence of Wagner in Syria, along with Hezbollah’s support to the President of Syria.

To defend against the expected attack by Hezbollah at the northern borders of Israel, the United States has deployed aircraft carriers in the eastern part of the Mediterranean area.
